THE MOD SQUAD

On August 5, 2014, Mayor Gamingboy addressed the unease in the town as "something" had been going on over the past six months or so. Every time a newsworthy event happened, weirder stuff occurred.

The Mods and others are vested with the powers and responsibilities of maintaining order in Roostville as deputy sheriffs. Gamingboy realized many of them (particularly Raptor) weren't taking this additional duty very seriously and hadn't so much as rode with a regular deputy to see what all is involved in keeping the town from going completely crazy.

Everyone who comes to Roostville contributes to making it the best place they possibly can and often profits tremendously by doing so but SOME pretenses of order did have to be maintained, DESPITE what 'the real world' might think of the often free-wheeling community.

The Mods are the 'city council' of Roostville and appointed by the Mayor and Vice-Mayor. Not only do they take care of administrative details, they are also empowered to enforce the civil 'laws of the realm', like chancery officers. The Sheriff investigates criminal offenses.

The Mod Station is their base of operations. A bomb pretty much demolished it (with Enshohma taking the brunt of the blast) in THE SEPARATION OF DESUTOROIA: Desutoroia X Khandejifer! They were then forced to set up a temporary precinct in Gamingboy's mansion while trying to solve the horrific Comedy & Tragedy killings.

Tosha, the dispatcher, keeps the long counter in the Comm Center used for administrative tasks bountifully supplied with homemade munchies and seasonal favorites. In addition to what amenities the officers provide from their personal stores or manage to scrounge up, they also have Air One, a fully-equipped small helicopter for aerial patrols and other functions. K-9s are also at their disposal for search operations.

Appearance - EB was a great purplish mass of ears, horn and teeth with an insatiable appetite and keen tracking ability. He tracked down the Kenny© from the The Museum of Monsters and wanted to eat him (along with Angillis). Although he caused quite a commotion about town, since the citizens of Roostville are so enamored with these creatures, they paid no heed to him on patrol, save for the occasional glance and whisper.

Following in his father's footsteps, he completed further training with the RBI himself and soon became Sheriff Jaguar's top detective.

Powers - Roostville is located on some very fertile ground so being a burrower, he will dig tunnels to sleep in and not be disturbed (whether humans like it or not).
Additional Background - Not trusting of aliens being privy to what the KFC might be up to, he would willingly share Sauron's beer with any E.T.s around. He also helped the Mothras out against the ILM Virus in BEHIND THE SCENES OF "ROBBERY IN ROOSTVILLE" and was not above using HTML to blow Spam away.

EB met his death on March 23, 2017 when Apocalypse sucked the energy of his unfortunate minion into a massive sphere of death and destruction to fuel a mighty weapon to destroy the world in Episode 5 of ROOSTVILLE: THE SERIES.

Additional Background - He may have mistaken the RMB Mercenary Service's golf cart for a unit from the G PROJECT K BATTLES Division when it was parked at the Evil Lair and busted them for doing business without a license but the resident Fire Monster is noted for staying the course, no matter what he might be pursuing.

She and the late Sheriff Varan were pretty much 'kindred spirits' in more ways than one, even if he had to haul his fellow 'tile into court on occasion to maintain appearances.

There's a raptor pack in the hills which Miyako Aso is also aware of that enjoys a round of Orc hunting when the pests get out of hand but Raptor is content to keep her inherited hunting prowess sharp with the frequent Gyaos fly-overs, preferring a Winchester saddle gun for this local sport.

Appearance - A lithe human when not needing to bring her more lethal heritage into play, years spent in the western US are evident in her appreciation of leather, denim and functionality, despite being cast as "Mary Ann" in WHATEVER ISLAND! (Gilligan's Island Rip-Off!). The Space Ranger look is reserved for Halloween rather than routine patrol, despite what many peace officers may prefer.
Powers - Not above employing the latest weaponry, machinery and technology to "get the job done", be it black powder, gasoline, diesel, electronic or laser powered. Raptor's cut down Hummer/Land Rover/Jeep hybrid GPN vehicle with its dual .50 cals mounted on top is her vehicle of choice for hunting escaped demonic felons and is the envy of every GPN unit on several continents.
Additional Background - The "INSANE country dude" (as the late Lord Jimifulss put it) had to keep a wary eye out for Sheriff Varan, Morgoth and other more "mainstream" Powers That Be in the community until things started getting weird around town.

Not above "appropriating" any available resources "for the greater good", the resident were-dino has a strong sense of justice but if Roostville was Hazzard County, Kentucky, Raptor and associates would be right at home! Little 'enterprises' (like pirate broadcasts and producing DVDs of about everything ever aired or filmed) are appreciated by nearly everyone in town. During REBUILDING ROOSTVILLE AGAIN: 48 HOURS 'TIL APOCALYPSE when Roostville vanished from its plane of existence, Raptor wheeled into Monsterzeroville and with King Goji, one of the Admins there, staked out the soon-to-be Stego-Anguirus-Baltan Department Store in the center of a mall for "city hall" and other camp functions. She made an unsuccessful bid for Mayor when Sheriff Jaguar (a long time cohort) did likewise in an attempt to ally the 'tile and mech factions in the city.

Powers - The somewhat absent-minded professor is a world-renowned scientist, Kaijuologist and inspired (or at least touched-in-the-head) techno-wizard and explosion fanatic extraordinaire. He has completed his thermonuclear jigsaw puzzle and the inter-dimensional shunt worked as specified, depositing it in a random location (at least it was SUPPOSED to be random) but the detonation occurred in Sapporo. A Cartoonizer was one of his earliest inventions and could summon cartoon characters into our world. He also came up with a nifty device that allows one to resurrect the dead.

He has already done anti-matter, singularity manipulation and weather control, leaving him with only ten doomsday weapons. Coming up with a new liquid rat poison for pest control services is just one of his many contributions to better living through science. Doctor Phish is not above manning a Gatling gun if things get hairy and MASER cannons "for tradition's sake", even if they don't do a thing against Kaiju.

With Project Doomsday, he was planning on taking over not only Roostville but all of the real world by launching five ships into space and aiming lasers to destroy nuclear arsenals. Then he would use an evil spray to cause everyone in Roostville, Maser City, Neo-Monster Island, etc. to go crazy! When last freed of mind control, he produced a personal anti-psi field and went back to work on his current Atomic Kaiju Enhancement Program.

Additional Background - A crazy scientist with insane ideas who wants to be a super hero if one would stop his evil plans and teach him how. He somewhat redeemed himself when he nabbed the notorious Pizza Robber on Halloween robbing Gigan's Pizza. Phish just happened to pull up in his patrol car dressed as the Hamburglar! He also played himself on the TV series WHATEVER ISLAND! (Gilligan's Island Rip-Off!).
