Roostville was originally called 'Golemburg' by the Hasidic Jews who initially settled there.

• 1954 - Renamed ROOSTVILLE by survivors from Odo Island (who often appear as the 'cast of thousands' Maori extras in local films) who resettled there. Scientists established universities in order to better study the phenomenon known as 'Kaiju'. The original founders put the island up for sale in the latter part of 1997. Morgoth and Sauron bought it, wishing to cater to all things Kaiju. Roostville became a key center of Kaiju research on the Information Superhighway when it went online in April 1998.
• August 11, 1998 - Disaster struck when a computer at the Roostville Cable & Telephone facility housing all the city's records had a major meltdown.
